Would I be entitled to compensation?

If you've been injured in an accident or incident in the last 3 years, you may be entitled to compensation.

There are some exceptions to the 3 year time limit, for example, in the case of a child, a claim can be made up until the child reaches the age of 21.

You will receive 100% of your compensation - paid directly to you.

How long will my claim take?

Many claims, particularly road traffic accident claims, can be settled within a few months. Severe injury claims generally take longer. It is in everyone's interest to process your claim without delay. Further advice will be available once we have had a chance to consider your individual claim.

Do I have to visit my solicitor?

No. Your appointed firm of solicitors will deal with your claim by telephone and in writing. Your solicitor and legal representatives will be there to advise you and will do all they can to obtain the best settlement for you. We can arrange for you to have a home visit if required.

Will I have lots of paperwork to deal with?

No. Your solicitor will take care of the paperwork and ensure that your claim is as worry-free as possible for you.

What will be expected of me?

You will be expected to co-operate with your solicitor and provide information when requested. Do not do anything to delay or prejudice your claim.

Your solicitor will be there to help and advise you throughout your claim and will make the process of claiming compensation as straightforward as possible.
